Message	guy hit my open z door (on the edge), causing much buckling and such. i was parked. door was open. he came in fast, bump. no one discussed fault. i called my insurance, they said "call his and file a claim". this is where I am at right now. I want to make sure I am taking the right steps in this, as I have never been involved in anything like this. Should I listen to my agent and file against that guy? I thought it was my insurance companies job to do the rest of the legwork. are there any online tutorials for this? ps, I probably need a new door and new hinges.
